About the Firm
Inaya Advisory advises fund managers, sponsors and founders raising equity, and owners weighing a sale. Each mandate is reviewed by our senior team before we accept it and prepared before an investor sees it.

What we do
We raise equity for managers, sponsors and founders, and we stay with their investors from one raise to the next.

Capital raising mandates
A full mandate, from the first review of the materials and terms to the final close. We position the raise, take it to our network first in a set order and carry it through diligence and terms to commitment.
Investor relations
The relationships opened in a raise are kept working after the close, with regular contact and updates written for the people who report to a committee. Also offered on its own.
Targeted introductions
A personal introduction to a specific investor whose mandate fits the raise. We confirm the fit on both sides before either party hears the other's name.
When managers come to us
The situations that bring a manager to us, and what we do in each.
If you need an anchor investor, come to us.
The first commitment decides how every investor after it reads the raise. We take the raise to the investors most likely to anchor it, in a set order, before the market has formed a view.
If a raise is stalling, come to us.
A raise open for months usually needs a change in who it is speaking to and what they are shown. We reposition the materials and take it back out to a different order of investors.
If allocators are not replying, come to us.
An introduction from us is read because it is made selectively and arrives with materials ready for a committee.
If the deck is not getting past a first read, come to us.
We rebuild the materials around the questions an investment committee asks, so the answers are on the page before the meeting.
If investors have gone quiet after the close, come to us.
We keep the relationships opened in a raise working, with contact written for the people who report to a committee, so the next raise starts with them.
If the terms are being questioned, come to us.
We review the terms against the market before an investor does, and we tell the manager what to change.
Who we advise
We advise managers and sponsors raising equity from US$100 million to several billion.
Emerging Managers
First and second institutional funds. Allocators are asked to back a team before its record is long, so we build the case around who made each result and how the raise reaches its first close.
Learn moreEstablished Managers
Successor funds, re-ups and a wider investor base. A record opens the door with an allocator, and the preparation of the successor fund decides how far the raise goes.
Learn moreCompanies & Sponsors
Growth equity, sponsor-led and co-investment equity for a company or a transaction, and advice to owners weighing a sale. A company is judged on what it will do with the capital, and the materials say so from the first page.
Learn moreReal Assets Sponsors
Equity for real estate and infrastructure through funds, programmes and individual projects. Allocators in this category see many raises at once, and each one is read asset by asset.
Learn moreNote: We advise on equity raises and on the sale of a business. Debt, credit and lending mandates sit outside our practice.
Our principles
The rules that decide which mandates we accept and how we run each one.
Equity only
Fund commitments, growth equity, real assets equity and the sale of a business. Our practice is built on equity and stays there.
Ready before it is seen
No investor sees a raise until the materials and terms are ready for a committee. An unprepared raise costs the manager its first impression.
Introductions made personally
Each introduction is made by us and only where the investor's mandate fits. Our name goes with every one.
A decision within 72 hours
Within 48 to 72 hours of senior review the principal has our decision on the mandate. When it is no, we give the reasons.
The investor's time is protected
An allocator hears from us only when a raise fits its mandate. That discipline is why our introductions are read.
